Catch, Photo and Release (CPR) Fish Submission

2024 YEAR LONG CPR TOURNAMENT RULES
January 1st through December 31st

4The purpose of the Year Long CPR Year Long Tournament is to allow club members help to provide valuable information to marine biologists, organizations concerned with our sport, and the fishing community, while getting a chance at great prizes.

Year Long CPR Tournament Rules:

1. Awards will consist of “Columbia” style Shirt, or Club Jacket, or Club Sponsor Gift Card along with a CPR Angler of the Year.
2. 23 species of fish will be eligible as follows: Amberjack, Black Drum, Bluefish, Cobia, Dolphin, Flounder, Grouper, King Mackerel, Mangrove Snapper, Pompano, Porgy (includes all with exception of Sheepshead), Redfish, Red Snapper, Sea Bass, Sheepshead, Snapper (other), Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Triggerfish, Spotted Sea Trout, Tuna (which includes Bonita), Wahoo and Largemouth Bass (12” minimum)
3. Eligible fish must be photographed on club approved bump board, safely released and within legal FWC rules for size and season.
4. Members will receive 1 raffle ticket for first released fish and 1 raffle ticket for every 5 released fish after 1.
5. The Year Long CPR Tournament runs from January 1 thru December 31 of each calendar year. Member must be in good membership standing at the time fish is caught and as of December 31 of the tournament year to have fish included in drawing.
6. Eligible entries will be determined by the Tournament Chair. Appeals will be submitted to the board of directors for a vote.
7. All fish must be caught in state of Florida waters.

Entering Fish:

1. Member is responsible for filling out the CPR Entry Form on your phone and uploading a photo of the released fish.
2. One entry per released fish.

CPR Angler of the Year:

1. CPR Angler of the Year will be determined by the greatest number of Eligible entries. In case of a tie, winner will be determined by earliest date last entry was made.
2. CPR Angler of the Year is excluded from winning Raffle Drawings.
3. CPR Angler of the Year will receive a trophy, and a club jacket, shirt, or gift card along with their membership free for the next fiscal year.

Raffle Drawing:

1. After the tournament ends, a drawing of all eligible tickets will be made to determine winners. A total of ten winners will be drawn from eligible tickets.
2. Only one CPR award per member will be allowed.
3. Members will not be required to be at the drawing to win. Winners will be contacted and be responsible to collect prizes. Prizes will not be shipped.
