Captain’s Log:
Second entry. This is my second report from the helm and to be honest I’m still learning the ins and outs of the club’s inner workings. But what’s becoming very clear is we have an amazing group of members and volunteers that get things done!
The passion for the sport is clear with the club members and you don’t have to look any farther than the Kids4Reel fishing clinic held this past Saturday to know that. The families I watched move through the stations of volunteers that were passing on their knowledge was a rewarding experience in itself, and I wasn’t even involved in the planning and organizing of the event (the most stressful part).
So if you’re reading this and want to get more involved with the club’s events and meet new friends who share your passion for fishing come to our meetings and introduce yourself, we’d love to get you more involved.”
