From the Helm (June)
Hello Everyone,
As my term comes to an end, this is my last “From the Helm” article. With that brings new people to lead our great Club: President Adam Morley, Vice President Carlos Garcia and Treasurer Deb Marinco. Join me in making these new officers feel welcome by introducing yourself at the June meeting and wishing them luck and offering your support. I will step back to the technical world and support our website and will be offering new features to all.
I want to say that it has been a pleasure leading our Club the past 2 years, as the Club successfully survived the Covid era, but we lost some great members who we missed dearly. It looks great for the future and hopefully we all can fish more and catch more along the way.
June is a busy fishing month for the Club with three tournaments that can be fished so check the front page of the Website for a tournament that piques your interest. The first one is a Kayak Tournament (June 11) that promises to bring great cash prizes to the anglers that register. The second is the Team Tournament on June 25. I need everyone to register online for our tournaments whether you are fishing or just coming for the weigh-in; just don’t show up without registering. The third is a month long Offshore Tournament which last the entire month.
